GOP Sen. Bennett predicts Reid win in NV
From TPM..

Warning that tea party "mischief" may be aiding Democrats this election season, defeated Utah Republican U.S. Sen. Bob Bennett says that Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid likely will keep his seat and that the GOP may not win hotly contested Senate races in Colorado or Kentucky either.

In an interview in his home state with The Associated Press, Bennett also suggested that Republicans may not have a clear plan to govern even if they do take control of the Senate this year. Weighing in on election season, Bennett expressed concern over the fiercely contested GOP primary in Colorado and said that, in Nevada, Reid appears to be a shoo-in to defeat Sharon Angle, a tea party candidate who won the Republican nomination last month.

"With the tea party creating the mischief that it is in Colorado, we may not win that seat."

"My sources in Nevada say with Sharon Angle there's no way Harry Reid loses in Nevada"

Wow. The GOPers are really coming apart at the seams. Thank you teabaggers!

2. Pretty Safe Bet...
But for a rushpublican to speak so candidly, no wonder he's been drummed out. Our body politic has deteriorated so much that a weak Democratic party may hang onto majorities not due to its ability to sell its agenda as much as the rushpublicans have imploded and fielded some of the craziest and most inept candidates ever. This is a party whose bench is weak and is being dragged further and further off the political abyss...left in its raw state as a party that doesn't stand for anything but against everything.

3. Remarkable though considering Reid was basically left for dead just a couple a months ago..
This will be a big win for Reid and the Dems and further calls into question the benefits of the teabagger movement for the GOP.

4. Also The Corporate Media
They're the ones who built the teabaggers up and have pushed the meme of Democrats, especially Reid as being weak and vulnerable. It's been the narrative that is almost turning into another "self-fulfilling" prophecy as the national Democrats and this administration are falling all over themselves to play to the beltway punditry rather than those who did the actual voting.

The teabagger thing started as an astroturf movement by "establishment" rushpublicans and was over-run by the Paulbots and LaRouchies that has led to challenges by Angle and a whole slew of crazies. They've now created wedges in the GOOP as we'll soon see that the baggers aren't electable in a general election but sure can create havoc in the primaries. And if they succede in pushing the GOOP further to the right it will backfire in not only the blue areas but purple ones as well. In the end they'll go down with the "Know Nothings" as a freak show in the political circus.

She and her advisers appear to be real amateurs... and Harry is the beneficiary.
