who is very worthy of our complete attention and quite possibly our vote. He is another who has said he isn't running...but wouldn't it be wonderful to have a ticket of what seems like the only 2 Democrats who haven't announced they are seeking the Presidency? I've never been a great fan of Feingold--because I have just never taken him seriously as a candidate. He said he wasn't running and that was that. But if the Republicans are EVEN considering Guiliani...then it truly makes Feingold's marital status a moot point and most certainly makes him one of our most viable candidates.

2. Feingold's marital status? |
|
What's the issue? As for Guiliani, I think he's been married three times. His last divorce was very public. He was carrying on an affair while mayor and announced his separation publicly before he even told his wife. Hard to sink that low.

3. Goodness it has been a year or more since I read here on DU |
|
about his divorce and that is why he wasn't seeking a candidacy. Is that wrong information?

Reagan was divorced. Kerry was divorced. I don't think a divorce is the issue it was twenty or thirty years ago. If you have multiple divorces and public affairs, that may be different.

This is his second divorce. It appears the divorce was amicable and he stated that he would not run.

4. He broke the news to the media |

rather than to the outgoing wife. He makes Newt look like a gentleman. Moved the girl friend into Gracie Mansion.
