The one thing that we know about the coming WV race for Byrd's seat

is that the NRA is going to openly try to buy the election, with ad money.

Unfortunately for West Virginians (my whole family is from there) the consensus on the state is that it is owned by the NRA for national elections and Don Blankenship locally. We might even see the Supreme Court's horrific ruling on corporate sponsorship of candidates in full open ugly display.

Watch for that. The ads will probably start soon- the name of the Democratic nominee doesn't matter they will just cut and paste it anyway.


I am going to the Marshall (the University OF West Virginians) vs. WVU in Huntington September 10th- I expect to see an outpouring of volunteers all around the stadium.
