Snarky to say the least...Despite "low poll numbers", "high unemployment", and the "first good news from the Gulf in 90 days", he's taking three days in Bar Harbor, known as a respite "for the affluent". Then the usual "He's our President and deserves some time off" - spoken almost apologetically by someone....

When Bush Jr. took what amounted to what...one-fourth of his so-called Presidency at the Potemkin converted Pig Ranch, that was GREAT! Here, this poor guy tkaes three whole frigging days and it's a "sad state of affairs".

"Liberal channel" my ass...

1. He's staying at a Holiday Inn for pete's sake.
Granted, a nice one, but it's not Walker's Point. The view is better, though.

2. Missed a great chance for some
great PR...First lady Michelle Obama visited the Florida Panhandle Monday to help promote tourism to the Gulf Coast region. States like Florida, Mississippi, Louisiana and Alabama have not only been affected by oil coming ashore, but it has seen a decline in summer travel to their beaches.

Obama took a tour of some beaches and let people know that although there was an oil spill, the beaches for the most part are clean and worth visiting. The first lady stated that the Gulf was a great place to spend the summer months as she walked barefoot on a beach.

8. Personally I'd rather see Michelle posing with dead dolphins
And Lisa Jackson should be fired.

3. Obama is one of the hardest working presidents I have ever
seen. And the Neocons are making it still harder for him by opposing every
single thing he is trying to accomplish. Have you noticed the grey hairs
on his head that weren't there two years ago? He should be taking more
vacations in order to be more refreshed and continue to do a good job!

4. Acadia is the most visited...
...National Park. The shops and stuff in Southwest Harbor and Bar Harbor may be a bit pinkies-out, but Mount Desert Island is certainly not. We went tent camping en famille on the shore of Soames Sound -- $30 a night.
