My 1000th post. Thanks DU

I know I'm a small fish in a big pond here. Heck, if DU were a football team, I'd be the 3rd string guy on the bench who only gets called on when the two main guys get injured and then everybody in the crowd looks at the name on the back of my jersey and says "Who?" :)

I was kinda hoping my 1000th post would be something profound, thought provoking, witty, etc... But I learned a long time ago that I'm more of a responder than an original post guy.

But thank you to everyone in this community for being here, and giving me so much to think about and to learn. You've taught me so much I wouldn't want to think of the days without my many trips to DU. I appreciate it so much.

And it only took a few years too. hehe I see these people who have been members for like 6 months and they pass me right by in no time flat. I've been longing to be in the 1000 club for a long time now. :)
