Would Be Robber Doesn't Give Up

The man caught on camera leaving a Metro PCS store empty handed after an attempted robbery strikes again.


A repentant would-be robber is behind bars in Broward.

37-year-old Israel Camacho is the man captured on video threatening to rob a Metro PCS store in Pompano Beach.

A store employee talked him out of committing the crime by reminding him that Jesus has "something way better" for him, but apparently left her store and robbed a shoe store a few hours later.

She said "You know Jesus. He can help you.... He can change your life."

Camacho said he was forced to try to rob the store on South Cypress Creek Road because none of his friends could loan him the $300 so he and his family wouldn't be evicted.
