Joe & Mika tried to gang up on Rep. Anthony Weiner on MJ today...

and were totally lame. I bet they won't try THAT again!

First of all, when he was introduced at the table, Weiner was stonefaced and curt. Mika got nervous and tittered. Joe started in. Then Mika. Accused Weiner of somehow "playing" his remarks, implying that he was somehow exaggerating his outrage. Weiner held his ground and destroyed their argument. He said he was angry...they saw him angry because he WAS angry. He didn't back down one bit. Why didn't Joe and Mika know better than to try this with him? Idiots...

Joe and Mika deserved their lead balloons. They were trying to downplay his passion as if it were a crude political ploy.

Weiner handed it right back to them and wouldn't back down one iota. M & J were probably relieved to get to the next segment...

is what a politician should be...passionate about people and injustice. I saw the Morning Joke duo gang up on him; he didn't take the bait and he handled them with ease. Somehow, I wish he'd gone off on their stupidity a bit more vehemently. Glad to have to Weiner around.

Weiner held all the cards. Joe and Mika looked like they were just trying to cook up something against him, that he was playing to the cameras. It was such a complete failure that they looked like idiots.

18. Weiner and Grayson do anger well because they are always in control of it

they use it instead of letting themselves be used by it. That ability is an excellent tool. Their anger is on the right side of the issues.
