Do you, personally, think it is okay for Democrats to charge their own with malfeasance but ......
..... lift not one finger to investigate repubicans?

The House ethics committee is about to charge two high profile, outspoken, very LIBERAL members of the Democratic Party and Black Caucus with various and sundry acts of malfeasance.

The various House committees - all controlled by the Democrats since 2006 - have thus far failed to even look into malfeasance against any significant repubican, even as anyone with an IQ above their hat size KNOWS crimes were committed.

Are YOU, personally, okay with that?

2. No! It infuriates me!
Everyone should be held to the same standard. And personally, I will never get over the fact that Junior and Dead-Zone Dick got away with their crimes.

3. No. It seems to be accepted that we're wimps except when it comes to our own.
Have to look strong (e.g. Rengel) but can't look as though we're on a partisan witch hunt (e.g. Ensign).

4. But Stinky, if we went after all the 'malfeasance',
would we have anyone left in congress?

Let's face it, about a 1/3 could be tossed automatically.

6. I think they are letting FUX and the echo chamber set the agenda
If Roger Ailes suddenly got a bug to prosecute Bushco we'd see action tomorrow.
I think the Dems are being led by their fear of what the media says.

11. Gotta let Republicans be Republicans
WE, on the other hand, must be above suspicion - suspicion by Republicans. If they smell something wrong, then investigations must be called. It's the only way we can expect them to meet us, in a spirit of bipartisanship and coming together, in the middle of their lair.

12. Democrats are destroying their own party
It appears to me to be a deliberate attempt by the corporate wing of the democratic party (including Obama) to marginalize the liberal wing of the party. I believe this will bring about the destruction of the democratic party as we know it.

16. Democrats are protective of their own.
The tipping point is when the Republicans smell blood. Once they decide to take someone down, Dems will put up very little fight, as they did when they decided to target Clinton. On the other hand, smart, crooked Dems usually get their hands dirty in something that high members of the Republican party are also involved with. They then have the Mexican stand-off they need to apply pressure to stop any investigations.

If you think our law enforcement agencies are independent or immune from political influence, think again.
