Will chocolate and bullshit be on the menu when Sarah Palin comes to Hershey, PA?

The creep quoted in this story recently testified for the elimination of Lancaster County, PA's Human Relations Commission. He and some other "pro-family" *cough* folks don't want sexual orientation added to the county's anti-discrimination policies.
It makes me sick that Sarah gets all these FAMILY gigs (especially when her own family is as nutty as a fruitcake).

Former Alaska Gov. and 2008 vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin has been booked for the Pennsylvania Family Institute's annual fundraiser, being held later this month in Hershey.

Palin will headline the conservative group's Aug. 27 "Salute to the American Family" banquet at the Hershey Lodge, said the institute's executive director, Elizabethtown resident Michael Geer.

Palin's speech is expected to have a pro-life and pro-family theme, said Geer.

"I think her theme will fit well with Central Pennsylvania and Lancaster County values," said Geer.

6. Actually, Hershey's still does have a chocolate factory in Hershey, PA.

They have cut way back on the chocolate manufacturing in the U.S., and have closed other types of candy factories in the area. But they still do have some production nearby.

They are closing down the old factory downtown (on Chocolate Ave) and moving everything to the suburban factory on the outskirts of Hershey proper (well, actually it's Derry Township. Hershey is technically only an unofficial name for the town; every time they've put it on the ballot, the townspeople vote to keep the name "Derry Township" as the official name of the place).
