8. Sharon Angel R- NV trying to unseat Reid said on FOX TV

that she wanted the reporters to ask her the questions she wanted to be asked s she already had the answers & that they give her the chance to give her web site because all she needed was $25 from 1 million people to win this race. Even the FOX guy was aghast at that one! Within hour after that interview, she fired her communications director who had only worked for her for a few days and hired another one who lost an election for a candidate in Calif.

Sorry, I thought most everyone on DU ould have known what I ws talking about.

9. Possibly - but it's not always the first thought, napi.

For instance, even though I live in NV and should be familiar with the story, I wasn't . . . add to that admitted oversight on my part the fact that the college where I teach uses a course management platform called "Angel". The product is flawed - we often refer to it as a 'fallen angel' (in polite company) - and the tech people are horrible.

So my first thought wasn't Sharron Angle, who I try to block out of my brain because it is actually painful to think about her, much less run the risk of hearing one of her TV or radio adverts - it was the horrible course management platform and the awful tech people.

I thought - just for a moment - Yay! They finally got rid of one of those useless toads in tech support!

Yours is a better story. :)

Sometimes when yo hear or see something repeated on TV and on the radio, you just assume EVERYONE heard it, and I know that's wrong.
