3. i have always tended to happy. i like life even in all its imperfections.

that being said, i have created a really good life, so yes, i am beyond happy.

I'm unemployed, I'm in an abusive relationship, I haven't seen anybody in regards to my mental health (or physical health) in years, I've had oil at my front doorstep, I've had hurricanes, and everyone in town is pissed at everyone else because they're not working either.

I made that decision in my early twenties when I realized it was not going to be one of those "smooth sailing" kind of lives and if I was waiting for something to make me happy I was going to be spending a larger portion of my life very unhappy. Seemed like a real waste, so I decided to be happy.
