Romer says stronger job growth needed to cut jobless rate
Yeah that's their headline.

Aug. 6 (Bloomberg) -- Christina Romer, who chairs the White House’s Council of Economic Advisers, said the U.S. needs stronger job growth to lower the nation’s unemployment rate.

Companies in the U.S. added workers in July for a seventh straight month at a pace that suggests the labor-market recovery will be slow to take hold. Private payrolls that exclude government agencies rose by 71,000 after a June gain of 31,000 that was smaller than previously reported, Labor Department figures in Washington showed today.

“That isn’t as strong as anybody wants. We need stronger than that to bring the unemployment rate down,” she said in an interview today on Bloomberg Television.

5. Who would have thunk it?
Oh, wait, maybe that has to be pointed out to some people now?

Ah, Wall Street loves the productivity generated by a weak job market. The Rich are trickling so much down that it is just overwhelming the whole job creation process and taxes are not an issue ... etc.

Now, if they can only figure out how you can be two places at once when you're not anywhere at all, we will be fine.
