but I am betting they are bring up stuff like how coincidentally on 7/7/2003, the day of the terror bombings on the London underground, there was an anti-terror drill running that simulated bombs going off at same locations and close to the same times as where the real bombs went off. Then no doubt the tinfoil hat crowd compared this to the war games and anti-hijacking drills that were taking place on 9/11.
Peter Powers explains on BBC radio how the hairs on the back of his neck were "standing upright" as the anti-terror exercise he was managing on 7/7 had to switch from a pretend exercise to "for real":
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aGE9FiuM06oOr maybe they mentioned how in the first terrorist bomb attack on the WTC towers in 1993, the FBI had an informant working with the plotters and when this informant asked that he be allowed to substitute a fake explosive for the real explosive to be used in the attack, his suggestion was turned down by the FBI supervisor running the surveillance operation, and then six people die and 1000 are injured when the real bomb goes off.
The New York Times later reports on Emad Salem, an undercover agent who will be the key government witness in the trial against Yousef. Salem testifies that the FBI knew about the attack beforehand and told him they would thwart it by substituting a harmless powder for the explosives. However, an FBI supervisor called off this plan, and the bombing was not stopped. <New York Times, 10/28/1993> Other suspects were ineptly investigated before the bombing as early as 1990. Several of the bombers were trained by the CIA to fight in the Afghan war, and the CIA later concludes, in internal documents, that it was “partly culpable” for this bombing (see January 24, 1994). <Independent, 11/1/1998> 9/11 mastermind Khalid Shaikh Mohammed is an uncle of Yousef and also has a role in the WTC bombing (see March 20, 1993). <Independent, 6/6/2002; Los Angeles Times, 9/1/2002> One of the attackers even leaves a message which will later be found by investigators, stating, “Next time, it will be very precise.” <Associated Press, 9/30/2001>
http://www.historycommons.org/context.jsp?item=a022693wtcbombing#a022693wtcbombingOr maybe they're bringing up stuff like how the planned appeal by Megrahi, the Libyan convicted for the Pan Am 103 bombing over Lockerbie, would reveal the CIA's role in framing him for the crime by inserting fake evidence into the trial and bribing an important witness for his testimony, except that as a condition of his release, supposedly so he could go home to die in peace, he had to agree to drop his appeal.

Those crazy tinfoil hatters sure do let their imaginations run away from them without any real reason, don't they.
