Jesu, has anyone seen any of that Real Housewives DC program?

I just saw some of this because I was too lazy to get the remote from across the room. These women and men are such shells and so preoccupied with style and appearance and money. There was an R lobbyist for health care reform (probably worked from the insurance side). They play polo and go to style shows, shop for designer clothes. One woman has a lock on her closet door that only accepts her fingerprints to open it. They giggle and jiggle and name drop.

Real housewives??? These people are hangerons--parasites. And we want to know why nothing gets done in DC. The Congress and Senate has become millionaires clubs and there is a whole class of people who cater to the lifestyles of millionaires while amassing fortunes themselves.

It amazes me anyone can watch the trash, or even accept it for real. These woman are so fake, and so high school. It gives women of this country a black eye. The majority of us are hard working & dedicated to care and well being of our family and community. I wish we could take them off TV.it makes me so angry.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta were horrible. Also, in no way a reflection of Atlanta housewives with money. Most of them didn't even live in Atlanta.

Still, they came back for more!

I watch the series with the understanding that these people are just playing up for the show. There's some campy fun to it and there's some bizarro stuff like almost every version has had a bankruptcy after the series ends.

38. The way Curb Your Enthusiasm works...

It's a live-action show but it's filmed in a reality TV style format. The way Larry David has setup the show is to be completely unscripted but each scene is planned out. The "script" is just a brief description of each scene. When the characters audition for the show, they're presented with just a brief outline of what their character does. For instance "Larry just ordered some bad soup" is for a waiter on the show. The actors and actresses then act accordingly. So the way that show works makes me wonder if all "reality" TV follows the same format.
