While the plane is coming to a stop, a Jetblue attendant argues with a passenger who won't stay in his seat.

The attendant, apparently angry, opens a door, activates the emergency chute, slides down, drives home.

A JetBlue flight attendant blew his top on an incoming flight at Kennedy Airport on Monday, dropped the F-bomb over the intercom and bolted down an emergency slide.

The mad-as-hell worker stunned passengers when he spewed profanity and boasted about quitting his job as the flight from Pittsburgh pulled up to the gate around noon.

"To the passenger who called me a m---f--er, f--- you," flight attendant Steven Slater ranted over the intercom, passengers said.

4. When I was a kid, I lost my temper working in a food court

I kicked, hollered , knocked over a stack of trays. (this was all in the back out of customers sight)then I got in my van and went home.

Once I got home, I sank a couple of B's and then felt stupid for my king kong rampage.

They let me come back the next day. :-)

pays for days worked plus per diem. It's actually very crappy pay and a lot of time spent in hotels. Only after you've worked at an airline a long time does the pay become good. And now days, airlines aren't around for a long time anymore.

It just makes absolutely no sense to leave one airline for another as a flight attendant because all pay and benefits are based on seniority. So basically this guy has started over about four times. Meaning he had to start at about $20K for first year pay, claw his way up to about $29K and then leave.

No wonder he freaked out.

shock bracelets / GPS tracking for all passengers. I used to fly all over for my job for years. I no longer have to and have purposely not not flown in a long time. Today, I avoid all air travel because of feeling like cattle... now imagine if this were added. I'm amazed at how docile people have become... years of brainwashing and propaganda is having a generational effect... IMO.

21. It would have been a much harder trick

It's pretty much humanly impossible to open a cabin door in flight. You have pressurization forces from the inside and slipstream forces from the outside, so the door isn't going in or out regardless of how it opens, and that's not counting the pressure seals and safety mechanisms which would also prevent such an action.

Still that reminds me of a good parrot joke.

A guy boards a plane, finds his seat, and notices he's seated next to a parrot. He shrugs and thinks to himself, "I've sat next to worse."

12. I've flown these Skywest regional jets a few times. I'm not sure

what the make or model is but they are cramped. I know to make sure and not drink coffee and use the bathroom before I board. I barely fit in the bathroom and can't imagine needing to sit down to use the toilet. It'd be like this Pink panther scene.

After four years of heavy business traveling and more hours than I can count on planes, it's amazing that more flight attendants don't flip out. Airports and planes are often places to view humanity at it's worst. From entitlement douchebags to drunk passengers to wailing kids...it's not a job I could do.
