2. So can the weapons the tasers replaced

Billy clubs and handguns. The cops have to do something to get people who resist under control. It used to be billy clubs and choke holds, and some people died from blows to the head or improperly administered choke holds. Now it's tasers, and some people die from the shock of the taser. Cops shouldn't repeatedly shock people as punishment, but calls to ban tasers completely are short-sighted, imo.

The point is TASERS CAN KILL - why cannot some dolts accept those words for what they mean?

Why cannot the manufacturers, police forces and those elected and appointed officials ADMIT THAT TASERS CAN KILL?

It shouldn't be lethal.

I don't think they should be banned, I think that the situations in which they are used should be reviewed.
