I doubt if he would have suspected such media attention and he may not have even known that his actions were illegal. I'm sure he knew his actions would cost him his job, but he was past the point of caring about that.

I believe he just had enough and felt an immediate need to get out of his current situation. Some people reach that point, go get a gun, and kill people. This guy simply grabbed a beer and went home.

She likely saw a male flight attendant, immediately thought "queer", and decided that no ghey was going to tell her what to do.

I posted once that one of the ways to make someone look uncredible is to post things close to something in sequence, then when they comment on it it makes them look nuts. Could be something like that also.

Many treat "service people" like someone way beneath them and not much better than gum stuck on their shoe. Unless you have tolerated being treated like crap by someone then you have no clue. And you are supposed to just stand there and smile. At Target we were told once we go on the sales floor we are "on stage". I did it as long as I could and left or I may have been the first Steven. Most people are kind and considerate (although they are becoming more scarce) but there are way too many that are so self-important they don't care about anything else. Society has become rude and classless in many respects and although he isn't my "hero" I do understand his frustration.
