Jenna Bush looking for a book deal
"For a book by a person who doesn't seem to read them, Jenna Bush's photo-memoir is generating an impressive degree of interest. The First Daughter took a meeting with HarperCollins president Jane Friedman last week to pitch the project, reportedly an account for the teen and tween market of her experiences working with underprivileged children in Central and South America. (Its working title: Inclusion.)

Bush and her agent, Robert Barnett, have been shopping the proposal to a number of publishers. According to a well-placed industry source, Simon & Schuster showed interest but backed off when the asking price surpassed $300,000. HarperCollins is said to still be in the running."

3. Oh the irony.
Demanding $300,000 for a book to extol her works of charity. The Bushes are ALWAYS in it for personal gain, are they not?

4. If Mary Cheney and Doro Bush can cash in
on this disaster of a presidency, then I guess Jenna wants her piece of the pie.

17. Anyone remember the Twins convention support speech for daddy????
For two young ladies, who recently graduated from ivy-league colleges and spent their lives amid presidents and world leaders, they certainly didn't reflect that money, education and socialization helped them in the smarts department.........guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree!

Ponder how so many books are written, seemingly, one-after-another, by the likes of the O'Reilly's, Coulters, Cheney's, Malkin, ,etc., etc., that go on to the "Best Sellers," list???? Just another way of laundering money for the hit men/women?

20. She should call it "Life In A Fishbowl"
I feel bad for kids of politicians. It's got to be difficult to have that kind of media attention when you are a young adult.

When I was a little kid, my siblings and I would ask my dad why he didn't run for president. He said "Because I love my kids too much to put them through that".
