1. A vote for a Democrat is a vote for FAIRNESS ...

Howard Fineman was on KO earlier and he stressed that middle
and lower class Americans aren't looking for a hand-out; they're
just looking for FAIRNESS, for what they're OWED. For Gingrich
to equate unemployment INSURANCE with welfare is to forget that
unemployed Americans who are receiving benefits have CONTRIBUTED
and only want what they've already earned. The argument shouldn't
be government vs. no government -- it ought to be an argument
for FAIRNESS for people who (as Clinton famously said) "worked
hard and played by the rules." I hope to God some Dems were
listening to Fineman because he distilled the message they
OUGHT to be pushing perfectly ...
