Need more votes?
Try not insulting the people who voted for you the first time.

Lots of people around here apparently really, really worried about President Palin.

But not so worried that they would avoid insulting people looking for an end to the wars, or for equal rights.

1. Want to see the Dems succeed? Try not undermining them with
constant hyperbole filled destructive criticism.

2. I see, so expecting equal rights for gays is hyperbole?
Edited on Fri Aug-13-10 02:10 PM by walldude
Violating the constitution is hyperbole? Wanting to end the war in Afghanistan is hyperbole? Closing Guantanamo is hyperbole? Wanting health care for 9/11 responders is hyperbole? Wanting Social Security to stay public is hyperbole?

Want to see the Dems succeed? Make them act like Dems. Republicans have the moro,n easily manipulated, loser vote sewn up, Dems in power who wish their constituents are just as stupid as the Republicans who licked Bush's ass every time he did something are fooling themselves. And so are you.

Like I said it's you who is bringing in President Palin, you are just so wrapped up in your own little world that anyone who lives beyond that world is WRONG ABOUT EVERYTHING.

6. Bullshit. They need that more than even our reasonable criticism.
While rightwing nutjobs are claiming that Obama is a socialist and the most leftist of all presidents ever, a thorough panning by "far leftists," including heaps of hyperbole, is exactly what he needs to be seen facing.

And then our more-reasonable critiques from the left-liberal side of DU, were they listened to, could improve what he achieves.

Edited on Fri Aug-13-10 04:54 PM by yowzayowzayowza
at a busy store and they ask you "Does this make me look fat?", do you temper your response for the setting, ie "watch what you say", or jus blurt out "You look like a pregnant cow."?

7. Gee what a brilliant and well thought out response...
I haven't seen any responses in DU so uncannily clever... Is there a school where I can learn this brilliant tactic? Maybe the Gibbs and Rahm school of how to throw an election, and blame it all on those horrible liberals?
