For starters:


1. The handiwork purportedly being cobbled together by the so-called Cat-food Commission which would reduce future social security benefits and, in effect, would be using payroll taxes paid by a generation of Americans to partially pay for junior's tax cuts primarily benefiting the most affluent.

as long as they have food and WWF-TV, sports, etc. nothing else matters.

5. They keep making it harder and harder for us to effectively object

through elections or activism. I imagine that trend will continue until the time we are at our wits end and take to the streets, there will be nothing but paddy wagons and jail terms waiting for us when we dare to protest. It's the way of histpry, even if the US is "exceptional"

More likely most of us will see the jails and paddy wagons and hide under our beds rather than be among those in the jails. There we will starve.
