And I seem to have made it out safely.
Having seen their newest commercial, I went to the website for Americans For Prosperity (hadn't visited them since all the town hall mess last summer).
http://www.americansforprosperity.org/national-siteIt has an animated banner at the top, starting with a picture of an angry Obama (against a black background); then it goes to a flag-backed picture of St. Ronald, looking somewhat sad and disappointed. The third panel is all in shades of black and gray, and it's touting their newest tour, the ominously named "November Is Coming"; I kept waiting for scary organ music to kick in, but it didn't.
Unsurprisingly, AFP is still painting itself as a 'hero' of real Americans, and Tim Phillips is now joyously wallowing in the new victimhood meme derived from President Obama's recent criticism, milking it for donations.
Chances are that I'll be checking back now and then, want to keep the powder dry in case they decide to bring their 'tour' to these parts. Since they opened this present business with their ad against my congresswoman, I'll be keeping an eye out. Don't know if they'll still be bringing those big red buses, though; they might have painted them black camo for all I know. Let me know if you hear anything on that, wouldja?
