Right Wing Bloggers Choose '25 Worst Figures In American History'

"The blog Right Wing News asked 'more than a hundred bloggers' who they thought were the worst people in American history. The results may shock you! Or maybe not. Jane Fonda makes the cut, along with FDR. Let's look.

This question was put out to over 100 crazies with internet connections:

Out of all the gangsters, serial killers, mass murderers, incompetent & crooked politicians, spies, traitors, and ultra left-wing kooks in all of American history — have you ever wondered who the worst of the worst was?"

Some of the answers are a given, but some (Richard Nixon?!) are a little surprising considering who did the voting. And some are actually pretty good (Michael Moore, Timothy McVeigh). Why the right hates Jimmy Carter so much? I really dont understand that at all. I mean I dont expect them to like him, but #1 worst person in American history? Seriously, I would fully understand if FDR was #1 but Carter, I just dont get it.

15. Carter, as a sitting president, came out for diminishing the military-industrial complex.

He cut military programs, he promoted alternative energy, and he supported human rights. (Yes, he did some bad stuff too, you and I know that.)

They can't forgive him for that, because empire and the military is where their loyalty lies, not with the U.S. per se. Roosevelt gets a pass compared to Carter because of being the CIC during WWII.
