I don't have TV -- get my "news" from the web and newspapers. So, excuse my ignorance, but

have any Dems or progressives thought to draw an analogy with Al Quaeda / Islam and KKK / Christianity? Would this not simplify the matter for the dunderheads in the crowd?

2. It's a cultural center and it's not at ground zero

The RW media has everyone repeating the same lie. It's blocks away and if you know New York, blocks away is pretty far. NYC is very densely packed, particularly in lower Manhattan.
