When I was a little boy in Chicago, we'd go up to Wisconsin and get a cabin on the lake.

Back home in a Chicago suburb, my Irish grandmother would take me for a walk in the neighborhood. She was a gentle soul, an absolute sweetheart, but she was very stern when she explained to me: peeing on the trees up in the woods by the lake was fine; peeing on the trees when we walked around the block at home, not so much. :)
