i mean, really. isn't that just as ridiculous?
if asked, wouldn't the right-wing also say, ok, we reluctantly agree that (maybe) they have a constitutional right to go there, but it's just a slap in the face of this great country and the victims of 9/11 for muslims to tread that hallowed ground and they should have the good taste and common decency to go about their business uptown instead. WHY do the feel it necessary to be RIGHT THERE, i mean, how insensitive are these people?
seriously, in what way is the presence of a BUILDING housing an islamic prayer room offensive but the presence of actual muslims not?
and if you do agree, how can you not recognize the opposition to the building is outright bigotry?
oh, and, by the way, while we're pondering this, rich bastards are busy looting the treasury via the pentagon budget. thought you'd like to know.
