the only thing i don't like is the offshore drilling moratorium, but i can see where that's a legit diff of opinion

there's another thread going abt jimmy carter and abt how america missed the boat by voting in reagan, i think if we don't recognize obama's achievements, one day we'll be shaking our heads and going, you know, that guy had a TOUGH job but he was getting stuff done...

My favorite news of last week was from DOJ, about enforcing the law about offering voter registration when people sign up for benefits of any kind. I really like that, it is not a new law, but the enforcement of one that has been allowed to sit idle. A very good thing.
The opposition to equality, not a good thing. Do you have any complaints at all, or is it all dandy-double plus good for you and all who you care about? Lots of jobs and loads of rights, all is well in whatever industry you are in, I suppose?

The others are supply-side-driven corporate initiatives with nice-sounding names, most of which made our problems worse, not better. I interpret "credit" to mean praise for accomplishment, so I can't give credit for the bankster gift and republican porkfest they called "stimulus" or the unprecedented gift to the medical insurance industry they pretended was "health care reform" or some of those other gifts to corporations.

And "green"? Don't make me laugh.
