My own feeble understanding is that Muslims do place value on the Psalms of David, the Gospels of Jesus, the Torah, and a lost book known as the Suhuf Ibrahim, but I've never seen any of these bound up with the Qu'ran.

The Bible which is a collection of books of parables, advice and dreams by many authors over a vast period of time. The Bible is full of symbolism and open to interpretation. The Quran is the world view of one man written in one lifetime and is meant to be taken literally. The Quran is very specific and consists of mostly direct commands.

Anyone one who believes in the myth that all religions are the same or they all worship the same God doesn't know much about religion.

By Zen masters, Jesuit priests, and other religious leaders, who would disagree. In fact, there are many Jesuit Priest/Zen Masters... Google it. One book in particular even shows a grid with all the common denominators between the world's major cults... and all organized religions are cults.

And the Quaran mentions Jesus many times. Buddha mentioned many "gods" in his teachings.
