I LOATHE this woman.
We have an interesting race shaping up for Governor in Arizona. Terry Goddard is the current AG and challenger against Brewer. Yesterday he put out his plan to bring badly needed jobs for our state.
Today Brewer put out a statement saying Goddard "politically plagiarized" what she has already done. That's not even what is pissing me off!
So I read her statement. She is taking credit for a huge Solar Plant that is going to be built in Arizona. A solar plant that was paid for by....STIMULUS MONEY! Stimulus money that she complains about on and on and on. Gov't spending. Big gov't. All that crap.
But that's not even what's pissing me off!
It was Gabrielle Giffords, Dem Rep from Tucson that convinced Biden to invest in this solar plant!!! And Brewer is taking credit for it!!!
Who do these repug assholes think they are?
Fuming here in Arizona

4. That is a great idea! I think I will also email Goddard's campaign and make sure he knows about it. |
|
Thanks - I'm breathing again! I needed someone to remind me to use these feelings in a positive manner :)

12. Don't stop with Goddard. Tell Biden too. |
|
Never be afraid to message the top. And since Biden was the one who got convinced, he might come out and mention that it wasn't Brewer who convinced him ;)

6. Brewer wasn't even elected, was she? |
|
I don't remember the details, but she seems to take a lot of liberties with her "popularity".

7. Nope. She was Sec of State, and when Janet Napolitano left |
|
she was next in line for the job.
I often wonder if Janet knew then what she knows now about her leaving our state if she would've done it. Can't blame her tho. She's an amazing woman and was offered a chance of a lifetime.

9. No, you can't blame Napolitano |
|
I doubt whether any politician appreciates the consequence of leaving their positions to accept higher office.
After seeing the destruction caused by Brewer - maybe they should.

I miss her! I always used to say I slept better at night knowing she was there with her veto pen.

11. And SB1070 wouldn't have seen the light of day |
|
With Napolitano in the Governor's seat.
I understand.

8. As Sec. of State, she succeeded Napolitano... |
|
when Napolitano was appointed to DHS. She'd positioned herself as SoS to run for Gov., but she caught an early break.

15. You would think that someone on the right would notice how they talk out of both sides of their |
|
mouths. "the stimulus didn't create one job" "look at what we did in our state".
Ugh - another example of repug sheeple.
