Here's my idea about the pro and anti "whatever" debate re: DU

How do we stick to the debate and weed out the personal shit?

One side says I support Obama and everyone wants to kick my ass for it.

The other side says I am a "professional leftist" and everyone is kicking my ass for it.

Those kind of posts are what is turning me off of DU.

I want to read why you think what you think and how we can make a better country for all of us not read your whine about how you are being treated.

I think we need a special place where whines can be posted and we can ignore them and get on with the business of winning in Nov.

We had something like that in the past and I really liked not having to wade through the piss and shit to get to something meaningful.


My idea is that admins should move whines to the whine pile and we can set a switch so we can ignore that place.

"So, here is my proposal: Perhaps DU should create an Obama Kool-Aid Drinkers forum just for people like me. That way, when I make a post that seems too much like an Obama fan letter, the mods could just move the thread there. Or, better yet, I could do all of my posting in that forum only.
