2. One of the worries investors had yesterday on CNBC
was stores like Sears that serve middle class customers sales went down last quarter. But the stores that serve the rich their sales were all up. The other night Crammer was telling how all the upscale restaurants in NY where it costs $500 just for a table were in the dumps last year and now they are packed again like the recession never happened. Seems the recession is over for Wall Street..

3. it certainly is. i just learned that our local mall is about to be owned by the peterson hedge fund

i've been looking into problem properties in our area & so far, they're all owned by very big capital -- including all the vacant houses on my street, owned by the same huge bank. who's just letting them rot, ghettoizing the neighborhood.

i wouldn't be surprised if the top 1% owns the whole fucking country.

4. Don't worry the people with money will do just fine,
to them a recession is an opportunity to pick up property at bargain basement prices.

5. not worried about them. worried that they're just holding the property to ghettoize the area so
they can play their little arbitrage games.

8. Notice the the top 5 % doesn't seem to move upwards except as a fraction of the top 1 % being part
of the top 5 %

If you only figure the trajectory of the top 2-5 % I'd bet a six pack it would look just like the others.

9. "The beatings will continue until morale improves".
Doesn't anyone read Roman history anymore? The rich are going to be dining on weird expensive shit just to burn through their obscene mountains of cash, while none of the rest of us have any money to buy the crap they sell. At a certain point the proles start rooting for the Visigoths.
