Strange statement heard at car crash scene

On the way home from work, I witnessed a car crash in which a woman pulled out into traffic and an oncoming vehicle couldn't stop in time and t-boned the woman's van. Fortunately, nobody was hurt, at least it didn't look like it, but the woman who was at fault, the woman who pulled out into oncoming traffic, said something strange to me, another witness and the police officer at the scene. She told all of us that "God said it was ok for me to pull out." Apparently not, because quite frankly, she's lucky she didn't get seriously hurt as one witness was a guy driving a dump truck.
It is possible that she was in shock and possibly mentally disturbed, even if for a short time. But I have to tell you, if her god told her to pull out into traffic like that, especially on a highway like this, where there is a lot of traffic and a lot of it truck traffic, then her god is crazy. And I also wonder if her god will pay the fine she likely got. I know the cop was just shaking his head whn she said that to him. So I wish her luck. Her god probably won't give her any.
