BUT I hope at the top the board's admnistrators will recognise that the economy being BAD is why many people had to agonise over contributing even 5 dollars.

On Democratic Underground, we love the people with whom we converse and share our ideas, ideals and feelings.

I'd also like to bring up that WE who pay to keep Democratic Underground online 24/7 are the board's 'owners'. I bet Skinner and the founders would also agree. They do the organising and make the policies, but DUers have been creating the ideas, content and devotion to make D.U. the most energetic democratic forums online. :)
