Why is the media polling people on whether they think Obama is muslim?
Why are they giving legs to the rumor in the first place by covering the topic, and then polling on it? It seems like their coverage is leading the public to feel a certain way. I don't recall the media feeding into personal attacks on Bush (like is he drinking again? is he really Christian?).

2. This country is nuts
There are a lot of people here who thinks that he's a Muslim, or a Marxist of was born in another country.

It's Obama Derangement Syndrome.

16. Bingo! They do this all the time
Spin their crap for a week about the deficit then poll people to see how many fear the deficit.

Report every sensationalistic blue collar crime and then ask if people feel safe.

Notice how they don't poll about BP's spill???

4. They should simply cut to the chase and ask people if they dislike him because he's brown
That seems to be the underlying, unspoken justification for most criticism I've heard about him from individual citizens.

7. It's all about feeding the beast
and thriving on "controversy" and "conflict". The truth has no place in their world-only the story. What's really galling is when the gasbags whine about how they're being "used and manipulated".

9. Actually, it makes sense if you consider that drinking was Bush's religion.
So, by that token, "going to church" means...

11. As long as there are a couple of questions in the poll . . .
1) Who cares?

2) Why does the Media care. Get back to work you slackers!

Then I would gladly fill out the poll. (As long as it allows us to "check all that apply")

12. I bet they would get an equivalent number of people who would be for repealing the 13th amendment
But they won't take that poll because they already know that result.

19. Remember Rev Robert Wright? They convince many that Obama
was a disciple of Wright and repeated one clip from Wright's 30 year at the pulpit. Then they polled about that.

Am-new-sia = an inability to remember what the MSM told you to be afraid of 2 years ago (since they now want you afraid of something else).

Here is a poll that David Bowie conducted:

"Do you remember your President Nixon?
Do you remember the bills you have to pay?
or even YESTERDAY ??"

Americans responding "no" 78%
responding "yes" 12%
responding 'what was the question you just asked' 10%

Do you believe teabaggers are bigots?

Do you believe BP is telling the truth?

Gee, I think those are good questions.

25. When did you stop beatng-
your wife kind of question.

And we all know, in a Democracy, the vote of the people is important. If the people say that you are something, then you must be.

As for my opinion, I don't care about his religion. I'd just as soon all leaders were secular.

I just hope that Obama doesn't start getting overreligios to "prove" how Christian he is.

26. Push poll.
By asking the question, they put the idea in people's mind.

"Would you be more, or less likely to vote for John McCain if you knew he had a black baby out of wedlock?"

"Would you be more, or less likely to vote for a Republican if you knew that they were Red Leptoids from Planet Ten?"

"Would you be more, or less likely to vote for Barrack Hussien Obama if you knew he was a Muslim?"

Note that all three questions don't actually SAY that John McCain had a baby, or Republicans are aliens, or that President Obama's a Muslim... but they imply.
