Frankly, I wish I was in range of that station. But my issue is you rating Trace Atkins as a D grade musician, when you clearly dislike all country music. Again, I dislike rap, so I limit my criticism of a rapper's music only to the message contained in the lyrics, not in my uniformed opinion of whether the artist is producing good rap music or not.

If Trace Adkins has written or sung racist or intolerant songs, then that's a reason to have an informed opinion of his music, even if you don't like the genre.

shouting "Death to America"? If not, then your analogy seems to lack something immediate in the minds of the folks who listen to Trace Adkins.

As far as General Forrest is concerned, there are many memorials in public places all throughout the South. It's a part of Southern heritage to acknowledge the military history of those who fought for the Confederacy, without necessarily saying that they were correct.

If you could imagine putting up a statue of General William Sherman in 1875 Atlanta, then you'd understand how many people in this country feel about Park 51.
