I want to express my thanks to you, and to the DailyKos community. Many readers here, along with 4,000 other friends, submitted comments for me to give to the President.

I want to let you know that I printed them out, and delivered them to him personally, when the President came to Florida a few days ago.

My name recognition is higher than my hand recognition, so you may not recognize my hand, but here it is, giving your comments to President Obama




Your comments were fascinating, and I learned a lot from them.

22. Grayson is the #1 GOP target. They're pumping money into his district to beat him

like a jack hammer on steroids.

Unless something changes Grayson is going to be clobbered in the Fall.

The problem is that the DNC is not giving him a penny.


Beyond this the GOP is going to be using "independent" corporate front advertising to swiftboat everybody in the Democratic party. By the time it's over every Democrat will be unrecognizable.

IMO, the fact that "our" DNC will not help fund Mr. Grayson's election proves that "our" DNC is not "ours."
If that doesn't scream for a viable third party, nothing does...

I see you come from NOLA. I was there in April at the Jazz festival. What a great time - and I sure did enjoy those "breakfasts" as Cafe Dumond. Trying to nurse along the coffe we brought back to Fl.

14. Alan Grayson is an internet genius

I dont think there is a single democrat in congress who is able to use the net roots to their advantage the way he is able to. Hes on the Young Turks, hes on DailyKos, hes sending out emails that are actually worth reading and starting worthwhile petitions. I can almost guarantee that he receives the most small donations out of any other rep. If I wasn't broke I would be donating on like a daily basis.

I know its been said a million times, but if more democrats had the ingenuity and courage of Alan Grayson we would be in great shape.

for Grayson and his fundraising bomb which has raised over $240,000. It reminds me of the good old "bat" days of Howard Dean, the first genius internet campaign. I've been all over this board today posting this, but happy to do it again. It's mostly small donations coming in like mine, but they're adding up and it's wonderful to see.
