Clearly the Republicans are trying to play mind games with America, from Palin's "death panels" to Glenn Beck calling Obama racist to Mitch McConnell only "taking Obama at his word" that he is Christian. These folks want to constantly mind game the American public into rage and, hence, misplaced political revenge against Democrats.
One way to stop mind games is to call people on them repeatedly. We won't have a Sarah Palin pulling her little tease and enrage "dance of the seven veils" if people are onto her schtick. People need to consciously ask why they are so angry after watching a Palin or Beck performance. The reason of course: it's intentional. It's a mind game. They are being played.
Another approach to shutting up the mind gamers would be to redirect political rage toward those who rationally deserve it. Properly evaluated, Bush and his Republican Party officer corps are the ones who deserve rage and the resulting just political revenge. They earned much more political rage and disempowerment than they were dealt in 2006 and 2008. Dems can encourage political anger against Republicans with a clear conscience and with the full support of reason and justice. So that would be the other side of the coin.
