12. discovered the books before the HBO movies

I like the books better.

I do not much like the actor playing Bill.

The black cook at the beginning of the series is outstanding. I haven't been following the movies lately; in the books he is murdered pretty early; did I read somewhere that he stays on in the movies?

The actor playing the brother is soso, the one playing the bar owner is great. (I am, of course, judging them on if their looks appeal to me.)
