I am livid! It is obvious that Glenn "I hate the 9/11 victim's families" Beck

is doing his little shindig on the day a true American hero, Martin Luther King, gave his historic I Had a Dream speech.

He said in a video taped interview played on Hardball that he didn't realize, until the other day, that MLK gave that
speech on that day. There's is no way he did not know.

He is doing this to get anti bigoted and anti racist progressives like me to react.

He wants a reaction so he can point to it and say, 'See. I told you the other side is hateful'.
In the spirit of MLK I will ignore this dung pile's dog and pony show. On that day I will say a prayer that racism and hate will be purged from our nation.

8. I wish Tweety and the rest of them would focus on Beck's crusade against "social justice"

when they talk about this issue. I think that is so outrageous that it is a great way to emphasize the absolute ridiculousness of what Beck is doing - along with his "reclaiming the civil rights movement" for Conservatives (???) and from Blacks (???).

I think that is a much bigger deal then whether or not he knew what the date was when he picked it.

His crusade against social justice & churches that practice/preach it is the most insane that I've ever heard AND THEN he tries to claim the mantle of MLK. WTF!!!

9. This is the end result, but sadly

given how ignorant of US History most Americans are... it is possible. Now that also means (which would be worst in my mind) that once he realized what the date is... he decided to go ahead with it for the reasons you just expressed.
