Facebook site to push back against Islamaphobia and burning of Quran
Just wanted to let people know there is a site/group on facebook which a non-Muslim started to push back against Islamaphobia and hate and the burning of the Quran on 9/11. She says she will wear the hijab on 9/11 to show support for her fellow Americans who are Muslims and invites others to wear hijab or a skull cap on 9/11 as a visible show of pushing back against the hatred.

She references the actions of my fellow Montanans in Billings, MT years ago where they stood up against the neo-nazis who were targeting Jews in the community.

The group is called "Wear Hijab on 9/11, Defy 'Burn a Quran Day'"

I thought there might be some DU'ers who would be interested in this group.

3. Many religious leaders are far ahead of the politicians on this.
...at least from the well established main line churches and temples.

but of course this does not comply with the media narrative, who only consider the opinions of right wing fundy churches.
