What if Lloyd Doggett (D) Texas were the Speaker of the House instead of Nancy Pelosi
Would Democrats be in better shape politically if Lloyd Doggett were the Speaker of the House?

Doggett isn't a Blue Dog Democrat so it wouldn't hurt the base, and he wouldn't be polarizing because he is from Texas rather than San Francisco.

The Republicans would turn any Democrat into a polarizing figure. Beside, Doggett is from Austin, the most liberal city in Texas, so they would use that angle.

is absolutely stunning that anyone with even a two-digit IQ believes it.

George Wallace would not be conservative enough for these cretins.
