. . .in 2010. That is a pretty vivid example of how divisive Beck is.

1. Agreed
My mom (at 15 - white) was there with her parents. My parents had not yet met - but members of my father's family (black) were there as well.

2. Well, actually, all those white faces caused quite a bit of controversy.
Malcom X was against the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom because of all the white people involved. The UAW was one of the main sponsors of the event, sending buses and providing cash, and there were plenty of white entertainers (Bob Dylan, Joan Baez, PPM). Not all black people were in favor of the march -- which was not "MLK's event," but the result of many factions working together (MLK was one, of course, but there were many, many others).

4. Wow. . .never miss an opportunity to bash Obama
"Obama and Michelle threw their own hate rallies" ?

Really. . .

They didn't throw hate rallies, they included folks like McClurkin and Warren whom I wish they hadn't but they didn't throw any hate rallies. Tell me when the threw rallies that promoting hating anyone.

5. I was one of them, way back then.
I was there, along with my closest childhood friend - both of us white.
