Unless he went way out of his way to find beyond military-grade body armor, a bullet out of any kind of higher powered hunting rifle will go through that vest like tissue paper. The grade of "bullet proof" vests that, for instance, most police officers wear only stop pistol and shotgun rounds. Even military ones will only stop low-to-medium powered rifle rounds like those out of an assault rifle.

20. The video yesterday of him moving through the crowd

with the guys in suits, sunglasses, lapel pins acting like they're Secret Service. Hell I've seen Obama and Bill Clinton wade in to a crowd with Secret Service hovering a bit less than these security guys with Beck. One of them was hanging on to Beck's shoulder like he would have to pull him down or away at any second.

Watching him now on TV - yep can definitely see the vest outline under that blue shirt.
