But this thing may turn out to be a public good. We have several of the vilest, most hateful beings in the country espousing their love and respect for MLK and their solidarity with people of color. At the very least, it will leave the tea-partiers dazed and confused. And further up the scale, it may actually cause 10-15% to rethink their own bigotry. But on the other hand, this all may come to a boiling point and a hundred thousand people will begin to spew their hatred and bigotry in a very public way, caught on camera and they ill nevermore be able to deny what they are. I think this is a win-win for the country.
