Was Glenn Beck Wearing Body Armor at Today's Event?

I was browsing a conservative web-site and one of the regulars commented: "Wow, I can tell Glenn is wearing body armor. Sad that he's been forced to that."

I've been trying to find some footage from the "rally" to confirm for myself, but it wouldn't surprise me one bit.

I think he knows that his hate speech is incendiary, and I wouldn't be surprised if he was fearful of his life.

It would have been funny if he would have had sun stroke. Then the socialist EMT service of DC would have had to haul him to a socialist hospital where he could get medical treatment, if he has insurance.

When you go around stirring up that much raw hate, it's reasonable to fear some of it coming back to bite you. I think I've read that he receives threats; it would amaze me if he hasn't. I pray that our side is better than that and that no physical harm comes to him. He must be strongly and stridently stood up to, discredited and repudiated (instead of the gutless "fair and balanced" MSM characterization of him and the others as simply "conservative commentators", "controversial" etc.), but that's all. Leaving any moral questions of violence, or whether he's "asking for it" aside, it would be disastrously self-defeating politically to make a martyr out of him.
