250,000 protesting the war on April 24th, 1971. I was there,

and there must have been at least 3 times as many people as Beck had today. They were also scattered out over a far larger area that weekend. I don't have any pictures, but here are a few videos from back then.........

6. I was with the US Army stationed in DC. We were told not to get near

the demonstrations, but me and some Army friends spent two weekends there. We stuck out like sore thumbs with our short hair.

The people at 'Tea Party' protests are mostly middle-aged and white, not many young people. Young people too busy texting to protest anything?
