the biggest environmental criminals in history allowed to "clean up" their own crime scene. Aided and abetted in their cover up and PR of the crime by the Obama Coast Guard.

There was no real clean up, instead they just dumped more toxic chemicals on top of the already toxic oil, just to hide the extent of the catastrophe. The Obama admin told them to stop using Corexit but they continued and this admin did nothing to stop them.

Now when investigations should be front center Obama is laying down while the Senate will not pass subpoena powers to investigate. He should be front center twisting arms like he did with defense appropriations and the $700BIL crooked banker giveaway. Instead he's laying down like the good corporate sell out he is.

this is just as bad if not worse than the bush Katrina fiasco.

While Katrina killed more people initially the BP disaster is going to be killing people for years to come when all the clean up workers succumb to Corexit. Just ask the clean up workers from the Exxon Valdez.

and the White House aided and abetted BP's cover-up of their criminal acts, and they are not prosecuting them in any meaningful way.

If we prosecuted every time something went wrong in this country, we wouldn't have money for anything else and my tax dollars can go to something more immediate and worthwhile. As for the spill killing more people in the long run, that remains to be seen. I'm not going to speculate on something that hasn't happened yet!!!

Flipping dial and saw Fox news ticker to recent "poll". Like 70% of people in Louisianna think that Bush did an absolutely fabulous job with Katrina compared to Obama handling of the oil spill. Soooo, save me my tax dollars and let them clean the shit up themselves....or, maybe, Bobby Jindahl (who they rate as super excellent---you know, the guy who doesn't want gov. money) figure out a way to do it for them.
