well, our empire is going to hire 8 to 9 thousand private security people to protect it and other US spaces in Iraq.

our military could and should be doing that.

private security companies pay their workers many times over what our military gets paid.

this stinks. we have to get the neo con Brass out of the military and off Obama's neck.

(I heard or read this but can't remember where, this a.m., think it was Wash. Journal.)

2. Should turn embassy into a university - it's big enough to even include
a hospital/medical school as well. What a waste of money. What was Bush thinking? Relocate embassy to a small building somewhere to show we are really going, going, gone from Iraq.

6. What better way to fake a withdrawal?
When is an army of occupation not an army of occupation?

When it's not the army.

7. But without the 18,000 mercenaries, and the 84,0000 contractors, and now these

9,000 private security "officers" we couldn't bring the "troops" home...

When is a troop not a troop? Well, in the end, a troop by a different name -
it still smells the same.

Ask any Iraqi and they will tell you this is an occupation...
