1. At its most basic
I think Terry is simply pointing out that the tea party people are somewhat unhinged as well as lacking in logic and common sense.

3. I think what it means is pretty straightforward:
"We are so not bigots! Our jabbering about taking our country back is totally serious and wonky!"

PS: and if you disagree it's because you got brain-damage on your bicycle.

From their latest batch of Kool Aid... or did Lady Blah Blah actually write this one? Word salads are so hard to understand.

Looks like a really hateful teabagger lady there... I'm sorta thinking that's not what the RW tool of an artist was going for.

Very confusing.

even if Obama was a member of the KKK he wouldn't be OK enough for them.

Because he was a white fascist proclaiming-christian sociopath.

That "albino Grand Dragon" crap is a complete dodge. These assholes act as though they don't even remember George Bush and the fact that the county was going a little further down the toilet every day of his presidency while they sat back being completely OK with it. Idiots.

11. Or...
..that the right would not be happy with any Democrat in the White House.

Folks...Bill Clinton was accused of rape, treason and a host of other offenses. The right fought him (and called him names) at every turn.

Making blanket statements about someones bigotry based on the fact that they oppose President Obama ONLY because his skin color is weak and obtuse. This is NOT to say that none of the Right\Tea Party people are not racist (hell...I know PLENTY of Dems that are plenty racist), but to imply that they all are is rather lame.

However, if you think cover-all accusations of racism to all who oppose the President is a good strategy...who the hell am I to say you are wrong?

13. Summation as I see it
Left winger tells right winger the only reason you don't like President Obama is because you are a racist.

Right winger responds that means that right wingers would be happy with policies that are ruining this country if the country was being ruined by a bigot white male. Then right winger asks the left winger if they are brain damaged.

Disclaimer: These are not my views. I believe these are the views of the person that wrote the cartoon. I use the term 'left winger' because I don't want to attribute such a dumb ass question to a liberal.

Again these are NOT my views I am only trying to summarize the cartoon as the author meant it.

They're saying the Obama supporters had head injuries as children so support him even though the country is down the tubes.

They're forgetting to say who put it down the tubes though.

18. He's serious. The problem is he's pretty much just an idiot.
http://editorialcartoonists.com/cartoon/browse.cfm/WiseT/

Look through these things. It's like political cartoons done by The Family Circus.

And in the cartoon above, after looking at his "work", I think he's entirely serious that he objects to being called racist for supporting the tea party. The stupid point from that cartoon is that these people actually were quite happy with the country crashing and burning under Bush, and bonehead Terry Wise was just too focused on his bellybutton to know that bad things were happening until Obama showed up.

20. Wise is apparently suffering from long term memory loss
Because, indeed, the Right Wing Tea Baggers were just fine with the country going down the toilet a couple of years ago. Only instead of an albino Grand Dragon of the Ku Klux Klan being the president, it was George W. Bush. Not only were the Tea Baggers okay with it, they were actively cheering it on! Only now, when the impact of the ruinous Bush policies is falling on their pointy little heads, do they finally realize what "we guys" were talking about for eight fucking years. Hard to believe we'd conclude from the evidence that the Tea Baggers are bigoted, but that conclusion is pretty inescapable for anyone with more than three working brain cells.

They dislike the presidents policies not his race and if you believe otherwise then you must have brain damage.

It's funny, get it? Funny as a crutch. Funny as a sharp stick in the eye. Funny as a terminal disease. Funny as being starving, sick and homeless. You know, right wing kinda funny.

37. Seems clear to me
The claim is that they would be just as pissed off and unhinged if a white President were doing what Obama is doing. The Clinton years suggest there may be some truth to that. As does the fact that the first mass get-togethers that morphed into the tea party happened under the Bush administration when TARP passed.

42. I agree that they beat the hell out of Clinton.
But the mass movement with the tea party did not start under Bush at all. There was some grumbling, but the real outrage was ginned up by Fox only after Obama became president. So, this "editorial cartoon" really misrepresents the truth, because it is trying to claim by implication that all the things teabillies are mad about started under Obama, since they supposedly weren't mad until Obama took office.

Obama is trying to fix it, this is one of the dumbest toons I have ever seen. He draws like a 3-year-old (sorry, 3-year-olds). He makes the point that is the exact opposite of the point he's trying to make. What a dumbass.
