I think it's cruel to make an animal sit through the process. I don't much care for seeing poodle cuts either... poor babies. Shoot... my dogs don't like taking baths! I can't imagine putting them through this!

They have to lay in a sunspot for hours after a bath...

26. Speaking of dogs and sweaters....

An elderly neighbor had a dog years ago that she used to walk in the Winter months with a sweater on. It was a small, toy, fuzzy breed. I stopped to talk to her one day and bent down to pet the dog. I saw something that looked bloody, so I told her to let me take the sweater off.

That poor dog was covered in bloody sores! I told her to take him to the vet, in which the vet chewed her out stating that dogs have fur and don't need coats. :eyes:

Dogs usually have a overheating problem...thats why often they have their tongues out..in order to cool themselves...imagine the suffering the dog must have gone through with a sweater on.

I have read some really outrageous comments on other places, then people either laugh or patiently explain it is photoshopped. Then they get told "well it isn't funny anyway!"



The authors wrote the book so well that they are taken seriously. I'm SERIES!!!11 Love the book.

41. My cat definintely know when I'm laughing at him, but if the painted animal

wasn't being laughed at would it know to be embarrassed? I mean, if it saw itself in a mirror would it recognize itself, or would it just laugh at the 'other' stupid-looking creature?

So, with the caveat the the animal isn't mocked, subjected to uncomfortable restraint, or poisoned, my vote is 'not cruel' - but definitely not 'fun' either. More like so utterly stupid that the people who do it should get permanent "Dumbass!" tattoos on their foreheads...
